RANDOLPH COUNTY, STATIONS 14-19-24
EAST SIDE FIRE DEPARTMENT IS A RAPIDLY GROWING,
COMBINATION DEPARTMENT SERVING AREAS SOUTH  AND
EAST OF ASHEBORO, NORTH CAROLINA. THE EAST SIDE
FIRE DISTRICT ENCOMPASSES APPROXIMATELY 55
SQUARE MILES AND IS THE FIRST DUE FIRE DEPARTMENT
TO THE NORTH CAROLINA ZOOLOGICAL PARK.  PAID STAFF
CONSISTS OF TWO FULL TIME FIREFIGHTERS, SEVERAL
PART TIME FIREFIGHTERS, AND AN ADMINISTRATIVE
ASSISTANT. THIRTY-TWO ACTIVE VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE
COVERAGE TO THE DISTRICT 24 HOURS A DAY/ 7 DAYS A
WEEK.  WE OPERATE OUT OF THREE STATIONS WHICH
HOUSE THREE ENGINES, TWO TANKERS, A MULTI-PURPOSE
UNIT, A SQUAD, AND A TOWER LADDER.  EAST SIDE FIRE
DEPARTMENT TYPICALLY RESPONDS TO MORE THAN 600
INCIDENTS A YEAR.
