June 11, 2018 - ESFD responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 64 E. & E. Presnell St. E-141 arrived to find
an overturned tractor trailer hauling trash with no injuries. SQ-246, DOT, and SHP also operated on the scene.







June 5, 2018 -
ESFD responded to assist Westside Fire with a working house fire on Old Farmer Rd. Crews assisted with fire
attack and overhaul operations. T-144, T-194, E-241, Westside Fire, Tabernacle Fire, RCEMS, and RCFMO operated on the
scene.







May 19, 2018 - ESFD responded to a single vehicle roll-over on Pleasant Ridge Rd. near Young Rd. SQ-246, RCEMS, and SHP
operated on the scene.







May 18, 2018 - ESFD responded as part of the second alarm assignment to assist Westside Fire with a working house fire on
Tranquil Ln. T-144 and T-194 assisted with water supply operations for approximately two hours before being released by
command.

May 13, 2018 - ESFD responded to a traffic accident involving a single vehicle on Highway 42 S. near Graceland Dr.








March 26, 2017 - ESFD responded to assist Ulah Fire with a reported house fire in the 700 block of McDermott St. E-111 arrived
to find heavy fire showing from a one-story single-family dwelling. ESFD assisted with extinguishment and overhaul operations.
Westside Fire, Seagrove Fire, RCEMS, and RCFMO also operated on the scene.






March 14-17, 2018 - Over several days, ESFD responded to numerous working brush/woods fires due to dry and windy
conditions. 3/14/18: 3/4 acre fire on Graceland Dr. (E-142, T-144, B-197, E-241, NCFS). 3/15/18: 1/4 acre fire on Gold Hill Rd.
(E-142, B-197, E-241, NCFS). 3/16/18: 2 acre fire on Highway 42 S. (E-142, T-194, B-197, E-241, Westside B-137, Coleridge
B-97 & B-107, NCFS). 3/17/18: 1 acre fire involving an outbuilding on Fairview Farm Rd. (T-144, B-197, T-144, NCFS).







March 13, 2018 - ESFD responded to Highway 42 S. & Grantville Ln. for a reported vehicle accident. E-192 arrived to find a
two-vehicle accident with one driver entrapped. Upon arrival of SQ-246, crews quickly popped the drivers side door to gain
access. RCEMS, Ash-Rand EMS, and SHP also operated on scene.








November 30, 2017 - ESFD responded to assist Ramseur Fire with a reported house fire on Coleridge Rd. Units arrived to find a
working fire. ESFD provided crews for extinguishment and overhaul operations. TL-248 was utilized for defensive master stream
operations. Chief 4 (Ledwell) held command. E-142, T-194, Franklinville Fire, RCEMS, RPD, and RCFMO were also on scene.








November 25, 2017 - ESFD responded to a reported vehicle accident with fire on Old Cox Rd. near Old Humble Mill Rd. E-241
and SQ-246 arrived to find a fully involved vehicle with crews quickly extinguishing the fire. RCEMS and SHP also operated on the
scene.





November 22, 2017 - ESFD responded to a working fire on Miles Moffitt Rd. E-241 arrived to find smoke showing from a mobile
home. Crews quickly stretched attack lines and extinguished the fire. Westside Fire, Ulah Fire, RCEMS, and RCFMO operated on
the scene.

T-194 responded with crews assisting with extinguishment, salvage, and overhaul operations. Chief 6 (Needham) held command.

November 12, 2017 - ESFD responded to a vehicle accident on Old Cox Rd. near Pine Hill Rd. SQ-246 arrived to find one
vehicle versus a tree with both occupants entrapped. Crews quickly popped the door providing access to both patients. E-241,
Ash-Rand Rescue, RCEMS, and SHP also operated on the scene.






November 9, 2017 - ESFD responded to a vehicle accident on Buffalo Ford Rd. near Twinflower Rd. SQ-246 arrived to find one
vehicle versus a tree with the driver pinned. In conjunction with Ash-Rand Rescue, crews quickly removed the drivers door and
pushed the dash to extricate the victim. E-142, E-192, RCEMS, and SHP also operated on the scene.






October 29, 2017 - ESFD responded automatic-aid to Westside Fire for a commercial structure fire in the 2800 block of
Hopewood Rd. Units arrived to find multiple dump-trucks fully involved away from the structure. Crews assisted with fire attack and
overhaul operations. Asheboro Fire, Tabernacle Fire, and RCFMO also operated on the scene.






October 27, 2017 - ESFD responded to a vehicle accident on Highway 42 S. at Briarcliff Dr. B-197 and SQ-246 arrived to find a
three vehicle accident involving a gooseneck trailer. Crews mitigated vehicle hazards and provided traffic control. RCEMS and
SHP were also on scene.






October 21, 2017 - ESFD responded to a reported house fire in the 1500 block of Filler Rd. E-241 arrived to find heavy fire
showing from a mobile home. Crews quickly stretched attack lines knocking down the main body of fire. Extensive overhaul was
required due to fire damage. Westside Fire, Seagrove Fire, Coleridge-Erect Fire, RCEMS, and RCFMO also operated on the
scene.





September 26, 2017 - ESFD and automatic-aid departments were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 2500 block of
Spoons Chapel Rd. E-241 arrived to find fire showing from a single-story residence. Crews placed an attack line in service
knocking down the main body of fire and holding it to the area of origin. Crews also performed ventilation and overhaul
operations. AC-14 (Husband) held command. Westside Fire, Seagrove Fire, Coleridge-Erect Fire, RCEMS, and RCFMO assisted
on the scene.





August 30, 2017 - ESFD responded to a traffic accident involving a tractor trailer and passenger car at the intersection of Henley
Country Rd. and Giles Chapel Rd. E-141 and SQ-246 arrived to find minor injuries and no hazmat issue. RCEMS and SHP were
also on scene.






August 29, 2017 - ESFD responded to a traffic accident on Highway 42 S. near Kemp Mill Rd. E-141 and SQ-246 arrived to find a
one vehicle accident with the driver entrapped. Crews quickly popped the drivers side door and removed the patient. RCEMS,
Ash-Rand Rescue 1, and SHP were also on scene.






July 30, 2017 - ESFD responded to a vehicle fire on Luck Rd. at Osprey Dr. E-241 arrived to find a passenger car fully involved.
Crews quickly stretched an attack line and extinguished the fire. T-144, SQ-246, RCFMO, and SHP were also on scene.






July 6, 2017 - ESFD responded automatic-aid to assist Ramseur Fire with a working house fire on Coleridge Rd. Units arrived to
find heavy fire showing from the second floor of a large, two-story residential structure. Crews operated for three hours assisting
with fire attack and overhaul operations. Chief 4 (Ledwell) held command. E-142, T-194, Ramseur Fire, Franklinville Fire, Staley
Fire, RCEMS, RCFMO, and RPD operated on the scene.





June 30, 2017 - ESFD responded to the 500 block of Woodlawn St. for a reported gas leak. E-141 arrived to find a cut gas line in
a structure that was being demolished. Crews stoodby with a charged attack line until the leak was controlled by Piedmont Natural
Gas. SQ-246 was also on scene.





June 29, 2017 - E-192 responded to assist Asheboro FD with a working house fire on Greystone Rd. yesterday evening. ESFD
provided manpower to relieve crews operating on the scene. Car 1 (Chief Way) held command.
